Season Update – Match Days
August 10, 2021
We are delighted to confirm that as of Friday night’s match, we will have no restrictions on crowd numbers and capacity. This will mean that we can return to a similar match-day experience to what many will remember pre-covid.
As of Friday night, tickets will be available to purchase on the gate as well as online. We do however, still strongly recommend purchasing your ticket online if possible, especially if you are looking to sit in the seated area of the stand, as this is likely to sell out in advance of the gates opening. In addition, all those who purchase tickets on the gate will be required to ‘check-in’ by filling out a test and trace form on their mobile phone via a QR Code or via a paper copy, please note if you wish to pay on the gate it would be advised to arrive in plenty of time to complete this. This process is NOT required if you purchase your ticket online, as we will have all your details from the point of purchase. We therefore strongly recommend you purchase your ticket online to avoid any hold-ups or hassle on entry to the stadium, this also helps us alleviate any delays to the start of the match.
Entry to the stadium will be through the original entrance of the Tigers den, there will be two separate entrances, one for gate purchases and one for online. Once in the Tigers Den area food and beverage will be served from the original point of sale, just inside the main entrance doors. We ask that everyone, apart from those exempt, wear a mask whilst in the den area, for the protection of themselves, each other and our staff. With the new guidelines, social distancing is no longer mandatory within the stadium, however we ask that you, where possible, respect the space of others.
Our derby match against Edinburgh saw the return of Roary the Tiger and the kids race, this will continue provided there are no other extreme delays to the match schedule. We will also be reintroducing the 50/50 draw this week, so make sure and bring along your coins for a chance to win the first prize of the season!
All-in-all, it has been a very difficult time for all of us over the last two years, the season so far we have received tremendous support from you all and we hope this continues as we return to a fuller sense of normality this Friday. Let’s pack the place and make plenty of noise to roar on the boys!
