I have been reading the latest biography of him on my Kindle. I was lucky enough to see him in what I suppose was his prime. My great memory of him was breaking the track record at Wembley in heat 1 of a test match . Whilst a very good rider and capable of beating the best on his day, I would suggest he never reached the pinnacle and is probably best remembered for his sheer charisma

It's always interesting to read such snippets. You're lucky to have such memories and be able to recall them. Not much of him on YouTube. Finished 5th here:

Interestingly in your clip Tommy Price was wrongly referred to as Jack Young and unless I misheard it claimed Ronnie Moore rode for Wembley when in fact he rode for Wimbledon.
