Sad to learn another of 1966 world cup winning team has died. Only 3 left who played in Final. Cohen ,Hurst and Charlton. Sad news but time marches on and there's little we can do about it. World Cup winner and that Liverpool record yet has to work for a living lorry driving after giving up the game. That's criminal compared what the never have and never will players get paid these days:

That's criminal compared what the never have and never will players get paid these days: I thought he owned a haulage firm. Did no know he was only a driver I just saw a clip on you tube but on further inspection you're probably right and it wasn't as bad as having to do do the daily grind of sitting in the cab: Wikipedia: After retiring as a player, he joined his brother Peter, in taking over Hunt Brothers, as the third generation of the family-run haulage business. It was originally established by Richard and Harry Hunt in 1929. In today's world of overpaid nobodies, and with that record, I doubt that he'd have been doing anything like that.
