Head Office has MOT due and new tyres needed before hand!!!. Searched the internet and found cheapest tyre £40.95 fully fitted. Turned up at tyre firm concerned and found that this was internet price only!! They wanted £104 more for same tyres. Can you guess what happened?

Yes, bought 2 tyres from BlackCircles.com a year or two back, to be fitted by ATS. Tyres were fine, but ATS took over an hour to fit them! I think it was their way of discouraging internet tyre sales!

The Autoglass advert being shown at the moment makes me laugh regarding getting chips etc fixed.
It could only cost a tenner or even nothing at all the bloke says.
Remember if it seems too good then it probably is.
It'd be interesting to know how many people leave without a sizeable bill.

I think this is in fact free , I have used them on a couple of occasions , one time they said they could mend the crack , they did and it went again so replaced whole windscreen totally free, did not even have to pay Insurance excess. My understanding is they get some payment from Insurance companies

I’ve had a window screen repaired. It is legit - the insurance would rather pay the firm to seal a chip than have to replace the full screen. Only thing is, you can still see the chip, they just seal it to stop it cracking.
Regarding tyres, I have used Apex at Walton for years. There is a reason why they are always packed.
