I see they are promoting a fans Bond and offering 9% interest!! Hope it goes well . Seems an insane interest rate to me

Never known them to do anything that easy or attractive. I lost about £100 on my 2019/20 season ticket when the China virus struck. They certainly didn't want to let that go (return my money that is), with the options being, if my memory serves me right, to donate it to the club or get it refunded on the next two season's season tickets. Well last year was a no goer for me and some bugger has nicked my seat for 2022/23 (a bloody kids freebie at that I suspect which makes it doubly galling) and sitting elsewhere is not an option for me so I'm still £100 down & I doubt that I'll ever see that again? I'll have a look at the detail of this bond thing, but like most things Posh, it's probably not that great an offer or going to be a major success with massive uptake. Being mildly investor competent, I don't really understand what that £500 is invested in? Whatever it is I think 9% is fantasy? |
