Planning officers have given their approval to the conversion of a residential home at 103 Bishop’s Road, Peterborough into a HMO (house in multiple occupation) for ten people.
No objections were received to the proposals during the public consultation period.
The application was approved after the applicant submitted a sufficient vehicle parking and turning plan, with six spaces provided; one for each bedroom.
ET 7/6/22
Sounds like a recipe for disaster depending on who the accommodation is aimed at? Then again "HMOs make up a significant amount of the rental market in Peterborough" so parking provision is a necessary inconvenience?

Would hate the thought of sleeping with one eye open every night.

I agree that it's not the best place but it's also not the worst. Far too much of Peterborough though is a dodgy dump now. I'm not sure which part I'd like to live? Oundle seems quite nice

Oundle seems quite nice Born in Peterborough from parents that had moved from The Lake District for work. Spent my youth days in Peterborough but as I grew older always moved further away. Werrington, Glinton then Langtoft. The further the better. The first house I bought at 18yo was in Burmer Rd. we would regularly do the Crown to Town pub run. I wouldn’t dare risk walking Lincoln rd these days. Now a similar London Suburb. Reading the ET, where are the majority on the naughty people page from? Not been into Peterborough centre for years. Retail parks if needed. In my opinion, you can’t beat village life. Guess I’m just getting older.
