Going for a much improved Dudek for this one. Surprised Bart is 2/1 for the outright Championship. Barring injury it looks to me like he’s already wrapped it up

Dan Bewley what a performance. Could not happen to a nicer guy. Might be talking through my own pocket (on at 7/1). Great racing on a brilliant track and this was a showcase of what this sport can present. Please can we scrap temporary tracks.

Taking nothing away from him, only in the GP due to the Russian ban, took the last qualifying place last night and now in the challenge for a medal. As you say, such a humble nice guy. b0252

You'd think that somebody reads this board! No fannying about last night although Madsen was a bit of a worry for a split second once. Morris also didn't ask the 4th rider to pick their gate because there is no choice: Why didn't Morris tell Madsen to stop p****** about? It's white or yellow mate, not bloody difficult. And why does Morris ask the 4th rider to select his gate position? There is a single option, as in "so Joe Bloggs is left with? ) Most amazing thing about the final is how Tatum (especially) & Louis (got it late) missed Lambert getting 3rd on the line due to wetting themselves about Bewley. Yes that excitement is justified but Bewley had all but cleared off & the race was for 3rd & that's what I was watching as Bewley took the flag. Brit 1 & 3 was a great result - gets no better, no matter how many times you watch it!

He uses social media very well, has the talent and a refreshing attitude Incredibly, Bewley only made the semi-final cut on countback, scraping in with eight race points. But victory in his semi-final and final converted that to 20 championship points.
“The way the points work, it all depends on the final,” he said. “You just have to be in it to win it. I knew when I had two races to go what I needed to do to get through on eight or nine points. We just made it and the rest was good after that.”
