The @ipswichspeedway Tiger is suffering from Dementia, it's a heartbreaking condition that makes you enjoy every little moment. This morning whilst trying to get him to eat more breakfast I said 'slow and steady wins the race ' he looked up instantly and said'Flat out and hanging off it, wins the race, idiot.' Oh how I love my ol dad...

Oh how I love my ol dad... So sad to read. Tiger Louis was always one of my favourite’s. He made it to the top starting from age 27. Imagine what he could have achieved as a youngster. |

Very sad news!! I remember going to watch him at West Ham with my late Brother . I think he was a guest or second half attraction . At the time they lied about his age and made out he was a young lad when in fact he was not as young as they would have liked

At the time they lied about his age and made out he was a young lad when in fact he was not as young as they would have liked I think Tiger was 28 when he started and did an impressive 9.00 odd average in Div 2 in his first year, in his second year he ran an 11 plus average and was around 8.00 to 9.00 in his first year in the top division. A real class all round motor cyclist. He would have likely been a world champion if he had started speedway in his teens |
