Surfing champion Bethany Hamilton has just announced (6/2/23) that she will NOT compete in the World Surf League anymore if they allow biological men to surf in the women’s events. She’s already an absolute legend but this stand makes her even more of a legend. Thank you @bethanyhamilton

Absolutely agree with her stance. It’s sad she has to miss out because of this ridiculous decision. We’ve already witnessed how wrong it is in swimming. it’s so unfair on those women that have trained so hard - and swimming takes serious commitment.

On a side night, if you haven’t watched the movie about Bethany I fully recommend it.

A clip from my testimony today in VA in support of the "Fairness in Womens Sports" bill. It's hard not getting emotional thinking about what is on the line for past, present, and future female athletes. But thats why its vital to keep fighting...so no girl has to go through this.

rules brought in under the presidency of @dlappartient
ignored the concerns of @women_cpa
and provide this is “meaningful sport” for female athletes. It’s neither fair or meaningful.

The only ones who can stop this nonsense are the adults but those with responsibility are just promoting and enacting the guff against all logic for a very small minority group against majority wishes.

I saw someone ask somewhere yesterday why more girls don't speak up? Allegedly, it all comes down to resulting loss of college places and funding if they do?

On a general point, I don't think that you can trust anyone in any position of authority these days until you know who is funding them.

1 year ago today we watched Lia Thomas become the first male to win a D1 national title in the women's category. Notice how Thomas beats the fastest females in the entire country by body lengths....
