Very difficult to bet against Bart. I’m going for Doyle to be the spoiler.

Very difficult to bet against Bart. I’m going for Doyle to be the spoiler. You've historically been a Fast Freddie man (assuming that terms like that are still legal?). I thought that you'd be collecting after that one. I had a better miss today. I got my timings well messed up today after being slow to get going and taking the dog out late morning. I went to back a horse that I fancied in the 1.30 but it was already 2.30 at that point. The bloody horse had already won at 14/1

Very difficult to bet against Bart. I’m going for Doyle to be the spoiler. What a terrible decision. That ref should be sacked. There was just enough possible justification (Bart in front, Doyle turning in to/leaning on? - very very weak but there none the less) to allow him to make the home decision required to allow him to leave the stadium in one piece. In any GP outside of Poland, Bart would have been excluded. If the ref hasn't commented on his reasoning then he should have to so that those who pay their money to support the SGP know how he arrived at what virtually everyone would agree was a shocking decision?

That was quite enjoyable but not for the racing which was pretty well not existent. Gate and ride a consistent line and you'd probably win the race. Miss the start or get beat up on the first corner then that's where you'd stay. Woffinden's scorecard sums it up, as does someone making the semi-final on 7 points: 95. Bartosz Zmarzlik (Poland) - FX, 1, 3, 3, 2 = 9 + 2 + 1 = 12 (they haven't put 3rd against Bart ) 30. Leon Madsen (Denmark) - 2, 0, 1, 3, 1 = 7 71. Maciej Janowski (Poland) - 2, 2, 2, 1, 0 = 7 66. Fredrik Lindgren (Sweden) - 2, 2, 0, 3, 2 = 9 + 2 + 3 = 14 WINNER505. Robert Lambert (Great Britain) - 1, 0, 0, 2, 3 = 6 99. Dan Bewley (Great Britain) - 3, 0, 3, 1, 2 = 9 + 0 = 9 692. Patryk Dudek (Poland) - 1, 1, 1, 0, 1 = 4 108. Tai Woffinden (Great Britain) - 1, 3, 0, 3, 0 = 7 + 0 = 7 54. Martin Vaculik (Slovakia) - 2, 1, 3, 2, 3 = 11 + 1 = 12 69. Jason Doyle (Australia) - 3, 3, 3, 2, 2 = 13 + 3 + FX = 16 (technical podium of some description )155. Mikkel Michelsen (Denmark) - 3, 0, 0, 0, 3 = 6 25. Jack Holder (Australia) - 3, 2, 2, 1, 3 = 11 + 3 + 2 = 16 SECOND (technical winner)46. Max Fricke (Australia) - 1, 3, 2, 2, 1 = 9 + 1 = 10 105. Anders Thomsen (Denmark) - 0, 2, 2, 0, 0 = 4 233. Kim Nilsson (Sweden) - 0, 1, 1, 1, 1 = 4 16. The bloody horse had already won at 14/1 I was very close to going for Freddy but changed to Doyle as appears in good form. Fred usually gives you a run for your money at a decent price. I had that dreaded missed bet moment years ago on The Grand National. I won the work sweepstake in 1983 with ‘Corbiere’. Two years later I fancied ‘Last Suspect’. I wrote it on the betting slip and joined the long queue at the bookies. As I approached the window I changed the bet to ‘Corbiere’ to win again. ‘Last Suspect’ won at 50/1. A moment I will never forget, absolutely gutted. Don’t think I’ve ever won anything on The National since

Even though I can’t stand the knob, Holder was the unlucky one. He would have had his first GP win. I've tried my best to give Bart the benefit of any small doubt because he was level (perhaps a tyre in front) and Doyle could have run wider because of Bart's inside dive, but why should he? Doyle was racing to win, not take himself out of the race. That type of move is what Verstappen does in F1, goes where he shouldn't and relies on the other competitor backing out. Correct decision or referee bottle job?

Correct decision or referee bottle job?I have no idea regarding Verstappen, as you know I have no interest in F1 - but any referee that looked at the impact from the behind angle had a very easy decision. Bart caused the stoppage. He bottled it in Poland.

The points scoring system is a joke. Why change something that was much fairer and worked perfectly well. Makes me think of Red, Black and Purple. Another decision that would never work. Panthers have been Red & Black for 50 years. Our last season someone decides to completely change it, with a crap team. As Andy Jacobs would say, “what’s the point?”
