Think I'll wait until I hear the most pointless piece of information of the day: namely, who was the quickest in practice. That always clinches it for me. As I said, Zmarzlik is like Max Verstappen in that he plays a game of chicken inviting you to back out first, or (in speedway terms) get run up to the air fence as per the last GP. If ever the series needed a Nicki Pedersen to bring Bart down a peg or two then it's now.

Unlucky. I'd have gone for Vaculik if I'd had a bet so it was a good shout. You were lucky to get a re-run though with that ref. I half expected him to exclude Vaculik for getting in Lindgren's way:

Grand Final: Bewley, Vaculik, Dudek, Lindgren(Ex)

Comments on first running: Vaculik gates. Dudek doesn't. Lindgren all over Vaculik. Bewley all over Lindgren. Lindgren wipes out Vaculik bend 4, lap 3. Both up. Lindgren excluded.

Rerun: Bewley inside Vaculik bend 4, lap 3.

I thought Lindgren was a cert to go. In the rerun Vaculik looked to have it in the bag until messing it up and leaving a massive hole for Bewley to take advantage of.
