The Riga Speedway Stadium or the Biķernieki Speedway Stadium is a multi-use stadium in the Eastern part of Riga, Latvia. The stadium is the venue for the 2023 World Championship round known as the Speedway Grand Prix of Latvia and the Team Speedway Under-21 World Championship. The speedway track which is adjacent to the Biķernieki Complex Sports Base was first constructed in 1976 and held several editions of the Soviet Union Speedway Championship before falling into disrepair. Bloody Discovery +. Originally on Eurosport which I could record and fast forward the crap. Now on D+ live 14:30 with an hours highlights on Eurosport 18:00 Sunday. Dinner at Mums 13:00 Saturday so no chance of live watching or recording, pause lasts less than a couple of minutes. Is that the additional pay channel? If so then I'll not be watching and not interested in a day late highlights. |

If so then I'll not be watching and not interested in a day late highlights. They are now offering Discovery Sports free if you have Sky that incudes Eurosport. If you don’t then yes it’s yet another monthly pay channel, that I would never go for. It’s just so annoying that the channel is an App on a Smart TV. Therefore can’t record and I’m not prepared to watch +3.5 hours for 23 minutes of racing. Will record the 1 hour highlights on Eurosport Sunday - just don’t like knowing the result before it starts. |

Will stick with it for a while at least. Are they saying that isn't a better track/stadium than that for the sports blue riband? Probably not helped by not being the usual evening meeting. |

Was out last night so although can get discovery plus waited till today to see highlights. Absolute and utter rubbish and disgrace of a show. |

You can do the report then Okay. Watched the 1 hour highlights which covered heats 1,2,7,18 semi finals and final. Agree with Rodders, absolute rubbish. If they were the highlights it must have been even worse. They’ve had so many years experience to make good race tracks but they just get worse every series. What is wrong with these people - can only assume brown envelope. Discovery+ absolutely no point. Please just leave it for me to fast forward Eurosport. |
