So says an e-mail from screwfix Department Always check the e-mail address. If you think that I'm going anywhere near - post028 @ cucharaentrepreneursjapan - then ironically you've got a screw loose. The unsubscribe link gives failed connection, bit of a giveaway!

I've had a text from The NatWest group saying my £569 payment to M&S was declined and two emails from them stating I have a voicemail from them. All advising to click on a link. No thanks, all blocked. I don’t bank with NatWest.

Genuine requests require official apps/sites and logins, passwords, security questions etc (bloody hard work and infuriating all too often) so if you don't get that then as you say, ignore and/or block.

Interestingly I was put onto a simple check years ago for scam emails, just highlight the email address that sends the email, most of the time it’s fairly obvious especially if it’s pretending to be from Nat West and the sender address is something like Ishmael.dotcrapmail@hashtag.rubbish

Absolutely. Like you, I always look at email address. As you say, sadly there are vulnerable people that get drawn in.
