Unusual for a Torun GP to be a non event Andzejs Lebedevs continued his FIM Speedway Grand Prix journey into 2025 after being crowned Speedway European Championship winner in Chorzow. Lebedevs is the sixth rider to guarantee his spot in the 2025 Speedway GP series, joining certain top-six finishers Bartosz Zmarzlik, Robert Lambert, Fredrik Lindgren, Martin Vaculik and Dan Bewley (J Holder likely to be added). Former world No.2 Patryk Dudek missed out on qualification via the SEC, but along with Kacper Woryna, Anders Thomsen and Rasmus Jensen, he could yet take his place in the 2025 Speedway GP series when he lines up in the FIM SGP Challenge in Pardubice on October 4. The the top four riders at the Challenge earn SGP berths for next 2025. Wildcards: 1 Mikkel Michelsen if fit one assumes 2 Jason Doyle 3 4

Bloody hell this is a difficult one. Bart and Lambert too short. This final GP has very little to play for. Lindgren 10, Bewley 12 look inviting. As does Lebedev 28, on a high after qualifying next season.
Okay decision made. Bewley win & an EW saver on Lebedev. Which means Lindgren will win.

And that ladies and gentlemen is why you never see a bookie on a bike I can't pick my nose on the horses at the moment (well I can but I also bet on the wrong one) so I know how you feel! Enjoyed the meeting but what was Bewley thinking choosing red in the final. What a mistaker to maker. As soon as he picked red I knew he’d done my winnings. As expected he was left in no man’s land. Smashed the semi from the back in white after crap start - you can’t do that from the inside. Stupid decision

Smashed the semi from the back in white after crap start - you can’t do that from the inside. Stupid decision White was the obvious gate, any sort of half decent gate and straight into the dirt on the outside, now if I can see it why didn’t he, Lambert is the same, spent far too much effort in sticking to the white line when by the fence was invariably the much better line as LINDGREN showed in the semi. I am rapidly coming to the conclusion as good as Lambert and Bewley are they are not very smart on the art of picking gates when it matters.
