He is coming in on a 6.08 Average. This is a rumour but plenty of Poole fans have confirmed this. This makes a even bigger mockery of our sport. It's like Jesper's situation, he achieved a new average while riding for Belle Vue but it was obvious that he didn't have his proper machinery. Matt Ford strikes again !

This is a rumour but plenty of Poole fans have confirmed this. So treat with an extra long barge pole (bad choice of words considering the whole deal depends on that pole).

Looking at Poole's new averages, They can't fit him in.
If we could get him in alongside Linus,Batch and Nicki then we would have the most powerful quatret in the Elite League.
Lindback on a 6.08 is a mega false average and we should take advantage.

Yes but Buzz averages roughly the same as Lindback.
It's a simple decision in terms of riding ability and the problem with our side is Trevor is too close to the riders in terms of friendship.
I will ask you 1 question riggers. If you were building a team for the new season.
Who would you have in your side Buzz on a 5.90 Lindback on a 6.08 ?

Yes but Buzz averages roughly the same as Lindback. It's a simple decision in terms of riding ability and personality. It either fits or it doesn't. And with Lindback being a Poole asset I can't see anyone negotiating for him to replace the Pole so dream on!

Buzz's current average is 6.34 and he will get a new average after Friday. I don't know how the rolling average works but his average will be around 6 or even higher.
Nicki's mega drop from his average will allow us flexibilty so it should not be a problem.

If I was in charge then that wouldn't be top of my To Do list. There are bigger issues outside the team to deal with first? But to answer the question: I'd look at an exciting reliable virtually guaranteed race winner or two for the top end and a couple of decent reserves for the bottom end. Then I'd fill the middle bit with the usual hot air, unreliable inconsistency, both fit the bill (although I wouldn't have put Buzz at 5 so perhaps a touch unfair atm?)

Swedish star Antonio Lindback will make a rare British appearance in Davey Watt’s testimonial meeting at Poole on August 31.
The Rio Rocket became an instant hit with the Pirates fans when he joined in 2003 and spent the following three seasons at Wimborne Road.
His 56.91-second track record, which was set on June 14, 2006, still stands and Lindback has made no secret of the fact he is interested in making a comeback at Poole next year.
Watt said: “I am really pleased that Antonio has agreed to be part of the meeting. He will of course be representing the County Crest Pallets Rest of the World side and I think he will be a popular invitee.
“I have known him since he first came to the UK in 2003 and I have raced with him here and in Europe. He is in terrific form at the moment, which makes it even more special that he can make it and I know he is certain to entertain.”
