Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson expects Gabriel Zakuani to play in Saturday's game.
The defender has been nursing a toe injury and was forced off early in the second half of the home defeat to Hull last weekend.
Burnley are still without Martin Paterson, Michael Duff and Danny Ings.
Striker Paterson has a thigh injury, while Duff is sidelined with a knee problem and Ings is recovering from a torn cartilage.
