I wonder what the great Graham Drury said to the new owners after that reality check at Brandon last night, Awful performances from Ulamek and Smolinski, no reserves and Karlsson is no substitute for Barker.

Selco Birmingham Brummies Speedway club are celebrating today after a double success at Perry Barr Stadium on Thursday evening.
On the track, the Brummies beat Belle Vue Aces 50-43 in an highly entertaining match to continue their recent challenge to reach the play-offs.
The club also attracted a record Sky Sports Elite League attendance to the match. It was the second biggest Speedway crowd at the track since Speedway returned to Birmingham on 18th March 2007.
Figures suggest that approaching one thousand first time visitors were amongst the bumper crowd.
The club are continuing to work with partners in planning further promotional activity.
With record season ticket sales also in hand, the club are to shortly announce special attractions to all their loyal season ticket holders.

Causing mayhem with their supporters as they have put the admission prices up to £19 generally with a reduction for ST holders.
Its fair to say their supporters are not happy.

Next season (2013) Elite League Birmingham will race their home meetings on Wednesday night's after switching from Thursday's.
The Brummies new owners who took over last winter consulted fans before making the decision, which opens up a bigger selection of doubling up riders with no Premier League racing taking place on the same night.
Joint owner Alan Phillips said on the club website: “I have decided to change back to our previous Wednesday evening arrangement. I’m also conscious that there is less likelihood of Wednesdays clashing with any Premier League meetings so the decision was fairly easy.”

If Panthers are indeed as rumoured to be looking at using mostly Fridays next year then it's difficult to see big parts next year for Lawson and Bach as both have signed for Workington.

Former Grand Prix star Chris Harris has completed his loan switch to the Birmingham Brummies for 2013.
The Cornishman, who reportedly turned down numerous offers to keep him at parent club Coventry, replaces Danish rider Bjarne Pedersen as the club’s No.1 and links up with fellow Team Great Britain international Danny King in the side.
The Perry Barr outfit has also been linked with Josh Auty and Ben Barker, while Italian reserve Nicolas Covatti looks set to return on a 3.00 average.
After 2011 Birmingham top gun Krzysztof Kasprzak and Pedersen failed to set the Elite League alight in red and yellow, Brummies hope Harris will lead from the front.
Joint team manager Phil Morris said: “Chris is the perfect type of rider we want at the Brummies. He’s fully committed and the fans will always be assured that he will give 100 percent.”

I would much prefer he was in the team rather than the r/r they are now going with for the remainder of the season.

Riders like Barker and Harris are entertaining and I like being entertained. Judging by the opinions of some of his fellow riders he certainly winds a few up - I just haven't yet witnessed it.
