I am a sadist, masochist and necrophiliac and also have bestial tendencies. Am I flogging a dead horse?

No comment Rodders but my mind strangely drifted to Westminster, yesterday's joke session and our outgoing MP trying to shore up his Peterborough vote in a vain attempt to save his bacon; it's not funny although seeing them verbally ripping each other apart is always amusing!

Comments from Grantham regarding Planning Application 23/00400/OUT:With a young family it will be nice to have some exciting things to do without having to travel to Cambridge or Nottingham. This area needs more to do so I hope this happens.

This area needs more to do so I hope this happens. No it doesn't. Why does Peterborough need an efficiently managed events centre or sporting team bringing interest and credit to the city? We can just suggest that our citizens vacate the city for nicer locations! Peterborians encouraged to ‘Hop into Easter Fun’ at Wicksteed Park over the holidays Northants theme park is always a favourite day-out with Peterborough families over Easter peterboroughtoday.co.uk/whats-on/things-to-do/peterborians/easter-fun-at-wicksteed-park-over-the-holidaysVery green and healthy! Panic setting is as the steady stream of friends and family support comments turn up on the planning portal. Often saying nothing, which just about sums up the positives of AEPG's vision. Occasionally there is a gem though: "Love to see the community garden happen for my daughter" There's a community garden across the road from me. It's gates are locked. It's rarely used despite significant work and efforts by volunteers over the years so if you want a project for her then do some local research rather than duplicating what's already available

Heat 08: Basso, Rowe, Thompson, Jenkins 60.26 5-1, 31-17 23/5/24 14 points up at half way but Chapman's mob only draw and lose the super heat to cement their position at the bottom of the table

From Collison & Associates/AEPG:
• Adrian Flux Arena, Saddlebow Road, King’s Lynn, Norfolk PE34 3AG. King’s Lynn is 35 miles from the centre of Peterborough along the A47, with an express bus service. Entrance costs are comparable for adults, concessions and programmes, and free for children under 16, with no cost charge for parking, although £2 was charged for grandstand seating30. King’s Lynn Speedway is owned and run by the same promoter as Peterborough Panthers, (yes, funny that!) and of the 7 riders who rode for the Panthers in 2023, 4 have signed with King’s Lynn Stars for 2024. Panthers fans could therefore attend speedway in King’s Lynn with some of the same riders competing. LP30 l. The service provided by the facility is met by alternative provision that exists within reasonable proximity: what is deemed as reasonable proximity will depend on the nature of the facility and its associated catchment area;
The only comparable service is that it's run by Chapman and his team is chasing the wooden spoon as per usual, clueless! As if you're going to waste your time going there, especially a return on an Express Bus May 31 table:

Mike Green backs Paul Bristow Greene stood as a Reform Party candidate and would have won the 2019 by-election but for Bristow standing and taking 7000 votes, most of which would have gone to Reform. Greene only lost by a few hundred votes. Then in the General Election Greene's Reform Party vote collapsed as a vote for Bristow & the Conservatives was the only way to secure Brexit. I remember Greene was unable (or unwilling) to grasp that fact and was less than complimentary on Twitter about Bristow but now he's seen the light The Labour candidate is not local he says, which is exactly the same thing that he said about Bristow in 2019 I seem to recall. Bristow has put Peterborough first & stood up for our city he says? Haven't heard a peep out of him about Peterborough Speedway? Only heard him whining about wanting to vote with the SNP to appease some of the voter base he needs, about affairs elsewhere in the world. Sue Morris is a Reform UK candidate in Peterborough but the former Reform Party candidate ignores her a backs the useless Tory? Not a great advert of someone that you'd take any notice of?

Just imagine that Sadly I think it’s a cert Starmer & Trump double. Sadly I think Starmer is going to get in by saying & doing nothing. Do people really not think how dangerous and destructive this lot will be? Blair effectively wrecked the country and this bunch of clowns will do more untold damage that the UK will never recover from. The states is too close to call and the Democrats are not going to let Trump become president. I'm not sure how but they will find a way! Ditching Biden/Harris would be my starter for 10.

It is dreadful to think Starmer will get in. I completely agree the people that give them the vote really don’t understand what they are voting in. They are just voting for a hopeful change. Big mistake. Problem with Trump is I don’t see any stand out opposition candidate. His recent conviction has only gained many more voters.
