Back on track : Now you’re talking. My all time favourite stand up comedian. Went to watch MF at The Cresset - never laughed as much since I first watched the movie ‘Top Secret’

Great tribute to a comedy genius. Rachel Riley’s favourite joke was a classic.

For everyone asking if I'm ok, yes I'm fine now I've calmed down, I was abit shook up but I'm feeling much better. I was robbed outside Esso on Maryhill Road. The police where brilliant to be honest, very quick to calm me down. As soon as I stopped shaking they asked if I could identify who robbed me. I mustered up the courage to let them know 'yes it was pump number 3 sir'

Funniest thing today was Rishi Sunak squirming when Julia Hartley Brewer asked him what is a woman. He twisted and turned like a twisty turny thing and just couldn't bring himself (much like the Labour Party) to say: "an adult female human being" And something less political and deep

Absolutely, the mob would riot. Read yesterday that Disney have banned using ‘Ladies & Gentlemen’ and Boys & Girls’ from their shows. The world has gone mad.

Beverly Hills Cop and Trading Places both superb but couldn't be made today in their original style - what a crap world we're currently in? Absolutely, the mob would riot. Read yesterday that Disney have banned using ‘Ladies & Gentlemen’ and Boys & Girls’ from their shows. The world has gone mad. It's actually pretty difficult to find anything not made in these unenlightened times that doesn't offend somebody. When you hear the likes of the brainwashed kids coming through today's education system (17yo JustStopOil (offshoot of toxic XR) protester on Julia Hartley Brewer today being a prime example) then it shows what a mess we are in. Anyway, back on thread (probably has to come with a disclaimer of some outdated language for those who can't cope with the comedy context?)

Yes the nutters were around 15 years ago. The warning was there:24 Apr 2007 Sheryl Crow said a ban on using too much toilet paper should be introduced to help the environment. The singer suggested using "only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where two to three could be required". Crowe made the comments on her website after touring the US on a biodiesel-powered bus to raise awareness about climate change. Crow had also designed a clothing line with what she called a "dining sleeve". The sleeve is detachable and can be replaced with another "dining sleeve" after the diner has used it to wipe his or her mouth.

More than one way to skin a cat!Labour MP said that on TalkTV yesterday. It reminded me of the Chief and today's world of everything being offensive to someone deserving of a heartfelt apology. The wider feline community in this case

Just saw an advert for dolphin friendly tuna sandwiches. If you are a tuna don’t make friends with dolphins.

Careful on the roads. I've just been reading in the ET the latest Magistrates' Court cases. I liked this offence: Found guilty of speeding (61mph in a 70mph zone) - how does that work

Certainly not a sketch you'll see on Sky/Gold TV. I see that they cut out "Bullshit" out of this OFAH at the weekend. They jumped from "cows" to Mickey's next line: - the aleebee

TalkTV@TalkTVThe Scouts have banned children from using the phrases "dinner ladies" and "man made" Connor Tomlinson: "We should stop acquiescing to their demands, stop expecting moral consistency and say 'shut up and go away'." - and off the radio/TV of course the phraseology is a little more colourful @juliahb| @con_Tomlinson And we all thought that this was a comedy sketch (I suspect that we all knew how close to the direction of travel it is) - scouts and scots, a bit too close for comfort:
